Our Journey
Leelah's Baking was established with a simple goal - to offer family friendly breads to our community.
Our founder, Leah, has been drawn to the art of baking through finding an outlet to relieve everyday stressors. This led her to making everyday bread items for herself and her husband to not only reduce costs at the grocery store, but also to reduce unnecessary additives that are often in store bought foods.
This led to the birth of Leelah's Baking. We are committed to crafting bread staples that surpass the ordinary, and our customers' satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do.
Meet Our Bakers
I'm currently a one-woman-show, but I am making it happen for you! The name Leelah came from my experience working the field of Special Education. A lot of the students that I have worked with in the past have had difficulties pronouncing my name, and often times they would call me Leelah.
I chose this name for my business to honor the students that I have worked with, and continue to work with. I would also like to be able to donate a portion of my profits each month (or two) to different charities/organizations that offer help and/or opportunities to people with varying abilities.
